I’ve been asked to put together some questions on The Silence for a book club and thought I’d put them up here too in case anyone else is needing them.
Hi! Thanks for reading The Silence. It was a hard one to write and at times a harder one to like. I found writing it very claustrophobic at times, and stopping working on it was a little like coming up for air. I’ve prepared some questions for you to discuss, and I’m always interested to know what you think – hope you enjoyed it!
Do you think the author intends to make the characters likeable? If not, why not?

The original title of this book was ‘In The Dark’. Do you think ‘The Silence’ as a title fits the story? Why?
